Many have asked if we have posted rules whenever students get to go downtown.
And yes we do...before I share the rules, I do want to remind our community that only grades 7 and 8 earn the privilege to go downtown for lunch. They get this outing about 4 to 6 times a year.
Here are the rules:
- All school rules apply downtown
- Only students who have earned the privilege can go downtown - missing work or excessive detentions means can not go downtown
- Students must stay between Regent Street (Tim Hortons) and York Street (Jacks Pizza) and on King and Queen Street.
Students cannot travel on Bunswick Street.
- Students must be in groups of two or more.
- All Grade 7 students must cross the lights at corner of Brunswick and Regent Street by the old bus terminal (Mr Plourde will be there).
- Kings Place and Police have been notified
