The Daily Gleaner in coordination with the Fredericton Food Bank and George Street Middle School will be holding a food drive campaign.
Did you know over 1200 school-age children rely on the Fredericton food bank?
Students need only to bring the following items on the designated week. The Daily Gleaner will arrange for boxes to be placed in each classroom and the pick up of the boxes.
Week 1: Oct 1-7 =Spaghetti (pasta sauce, pasta, etc……)
Week 2: Oct 8-14= School lunches (juice boxes, granola bars, cheese & crackers, fruit cups, puddings, sandwich fillings etc….)
Week 3: Oct 15-21= Canned vegetables and fruit
