The Daily Gleaner in coordination with the Fredericton Food Bank and George Street Middle School will be holding a food drive campaign.
Did you know over 1200 school-age children rely on the Fredericton food bank?
Students need only to bring the following items on the designated week. The Daily Gleaner will arrange for boxes to be placed in each classroom and the pick up of the boxes.
Week 1: Oct 1-7 =Spaghetti (pasta sauce, pasta, etc……)
Week 2: Oct 8-14= School lunches (juice boxes, granola bars, cheese & crackers, fruit cups, puddings, sandwich fillings etc….)
Week 3: Oct 15-21= Canned vegetables and fruit

Hello Everyone - Our E-Zine and other information
Hello,
Welcome to our first blog of the school year.
We will provide updates on this portion of our website every Monday - Tuesday and Friday on a weekly basis.
Our e-zine is available and contains plenty of good information about George Street Middle School.
On October 3rd, Interim reports will be coming home with your child.
We are pleased to announce we have a special project called Comix 101...
12 of our students are are receiving multi-media training as they learn about the process of creating comic book stories. This includes the editorial process and working with a publishing company.
