Operation Keep The Change
We are going to run our Keep the Change campaign again this year!!
For those wo are new to the school or who can't remember last year, Keep the Change is a simple way to give the students another opportunity to give back to the community in a small but meaningful way. It is a great compliment to the George Cares, George Shares campaign.
A stocking and a Zip-lock bag has been delivered to each classroom.
Please encourage students to put their change in the class stocking.
During the Christmas Assembly, all class reps will come put their stocking (full of $$!!) into our big stocking. We will make a big deal of it again this year. A Salvation Army rep will come this year (they couldn't make it last year...)All the money collected will be donated to the Salvation Army.
There will also be posters and announcements to remind the kids on a daily basis. We were able to make a significant donation (over $400) last year and it would be wonderful if we could do the same or better this year.
